Parish Liturgy

Liturgy is at the centre of the life of the parish. Every effort is made to provide the very highest quality of worship in our parish. To this end great attention is paid to the quality of music, the reading of the Scriptures, altar serving and the various ministries. Major festivals are planned in detail so that the Liturgy mirrors the importance and richness of the solemnities.

The parish aspires to be 'child friendly'. The children have their own special liturgies during the Liturgy of the Word at weekend Masses in all three churches. The work that the children do is brought to the altar during the Offertory Procession. Children's Masses are celebrated in each church usually on Harvest Sunday, Christmas Eve, Mother's Day and near First Holy Communion celebrations. The parish complies fully with national Safeguarding guidelines.
