PARISH FORUM

(Parish Pastoral Council)

The Parish Forum (PPC) brings together our various committees, groups and lead individuals to discuss matters that concern the whole parish. Up till now the PPC had met only once a year and then only briefly just before the AGM. Fr Richard now feels that such meetings should be more regular and have sufficient time to examine genuine issues. It is hoped that under the new title ‘Parish Forum’ the meetings will improve parish communication and provide us with an effective cohesive consultative body. Naturally the AGM will continue to provide an opportunity for whole parish meetings. The Parish Forum met on Thursday 10 November at SPJ Hall 8pm. Discussed was the Parish Mission Statement, School Transport, a Parish Development Report from SG11, Youth support and something from the parent Diocesan Pastoral Council.
